Retweets

I started joining twitter around August of 2010. My friend Christine has been forcing me to make an account there because its fun and really interesting. So one day, when I got bored, I decided to make one. And man, was it really FUN! I followed local and international celebrities, musicians, and famous authors. To date, I have 53 followers, most of which I know. My account used to be private but in order for me to get more followers (hehe) and for me to be able to embed it in my blogsite, I decided to make it Public. At first, I was really hesitant because I might get in trouble with some of my tweets. But what the heck! It's my account, so I can do whatever I want. Right? :)

The usual people that I tweet with are my friends. There are times that I tweet celebrities but it doesn't usually get recognized. I understand because they have a lot of followers who tweet them also, so I don't mind really if they don't get to tweet me back. But last night, while I was reading the Feb 2011 issue of StarStudio magazine, I tweeted that I love Toni Gonzaga so much and that Chokoleit's house was nice and also, Jasmine Curtis Smith is pretty. To my surprise, Chokoleit retweeted my tweet. Hahaha! I was happy enough with that. Then after reading the feature on Jasmine Curtis-Smith (Anne's little sister), I tweeted this:

I wasn't expecting Anne Curtis or Jasmine Curtis-Smith to respond or recognize my tweet. But I was shocked when I saw this:

I was so happy when I saw this. I've tweeted a lot of celebrities but like I said, I'm not expecting them to tweet back. I know it's medyo mababaw of me to be so happy about this, but I really am! Plus, I also feel kilig. Hahahaha! The fan in me just got out from the cage. Hahaha! And guys, I really meant what I tweeted. I am a huge fan of the Gonzaga and Curtis-Smith sisters. ♥

Thanks Jasmine for replying to my tweet. I super appreciate it. And Good luck on your future endeavors. :)

5 places in the Philippines that I want to visit

Part of my bucket list is to travel the world someday. One continent at a time. I know it may seem impossible, but there's nothing wrong with setting a goal for yourself, right? ;) But before I start traveling foreign countries, let me start at my own country, the Philippines. I have picked 5 local destinations that I wish to visit someday or hoping to visit again anytime soon. These places are familiar to everyone. I am hoping though that somebody can tell me other beautiful places to visit in the PI so that I can help promote. Hehe. Promoter talaga? ;)

Here goes the 5 places in the PI that I want to visit:

1. El Nido, Palawan, PI
I don't own these pictures. Grabbed them from google.

I've heard about this place when it was featured on a television show. When I saw how beautiful the place was, I instantly dreamt of visiting that place one day. A top tourist destination in Palawan, it has over 50 white sand beaches, lush jungles and preserved wildlife. It is also considered a protected area by the Philippine Government.  El Nido is often referred to as the Philippines' Last Frontier. They say you will know why it is referred to as such once you get to visit that magical place. So I hope to go there by the end of this year or early next year for me to know why this is loved by many people. ♥

One of the activities you can do at El Nido, Palawan is Scuba Diving. But if you are not into diving like me, you can also go for Cliff Climbing or Cave Exploring which, they say, leads you to hidden beaches and springs.  That is super WOW! :) Now I can't wait to get a taste of El Nido. This is definitely on top of my travel list!♥

2. Sagada, Mountain Province, PI
I don't own these pictures. Grabbed them from google.

I've never heard about this place not until September 2010 when my ate told me she'll be booking us a flight to Manila then proceed to Sagada for two days. I instantly googled about this place to see what this place has to offer. Only then did I find out that it was way on top of Luzon. .approximately, 15 hours of travel from Manila. I was like, "Really? 15 hours? I might be dead by then!" Hahaha! But I got attracted with the label "hanging coffins". Apparently, this is what this place is famous for. To some, this might be scary. But to me, it was AMAZING so I told myself to give it a try. Coffins hanging? COOL! Plus, it was super cold daw in there and there's also a beautiful rice terraces there! WOW!! Hahaha! My aunt who's been there once told us that this place is for those people who are adventurous daw. You need to have enough patience and you must be ready to take the risks involved in getting there! Sadly though, our trip to Sagada was canceled. We just went to Baguio because of limited time. But I won't miss out the chance of going there when I have the time and money.

3. Boracay, PI
I don't own these pictures. Grabbed them from google.
Bora, as known to many, is a very popular island in the Philippines. It is part of Aklan Province located in the Visayas. There are two ways to get there: through boat and through plane. Both modes of transportation lead you to Caticlan then you'll have to take a 15-minute pumpboat trip before finally reaching the beautiful island of Boracay.

I have been to this place when I was still 11 years old. I was with my family and my mama's officemates. Back then, Bora wasn't as fully developed as it is today. There weren't that many hotels and prices at the time were cheaper compared to today. But the beautiful white sand and the crystal-clear waters of Boracay remained the same. I'm aiming to go back to Bora with my friends anytime soon. Hopefully within this year. The experience would totally be different when you're vacationing with your friends :)

4. Camiguin Island, PI

Known as the Island Born of Fire because of its volcanic origin, Camiguin Island is a pear-shaped island located in the northern tip of Mindanao. One of its famous tourist destination is the Sunken Cemetery which sunk when a volcanic eruption happened many years ago. Not only did the cemetery sank but also part of the island succumbed to the deep waters. But despite the tragedy, Camiguin Island came out beautifully.

It is also famous for its White Island. Some of the people I know (including my ex boif) who has been there told me that it has the whitest white sand they have seen in their entire life. Other places to look out for when going to Camiguin Island is the 250 ft. Katibawasan falls and the Sto. Niño cold spring. Hmmm..I definitely cannot wait to be able to visit this Island. Wonder when it will be though....

5. Davao City, PI

My parents have been there. My three good friends Kayle, Ianne and Aryan have been there also. One of my closest lovebirds, Dinah and Jannsen, went there too. And they all have one thing to say about the city of Davao - it is BEAUTIFUL. It is located in Mindanao and you can get there by plane or boat. I, honestly, can say that I'm scared to go there because of the threat of Abu Sayaffs. Even though the hideout of that rebel group is far from Davao City, I can't help but be concerned about my safety. But hearing the comments from the people I know who's been there - mostly positive comments - it makes me change my view of that city. Famous for its fruit Durian, Davao has developed into a successful city. It is biggest city in the whole Mindanao. And it is also recognized worldwide. Why wouldn't it be, diba?

So I'm planning to visit Davao hopefully by end of next year. I need to save up for this trip (and for the other 4 place I want to visit).

So there you go - the Top 5 places in the Philippines that I want to visit. This goal of mine needs a lot of money and guts in order for it to be accomplished. With hard work and amazing money-saving practice, I can surely give these 5 places a visit soon! :)

Mother Nature is giving us a stern warning

Yesterday, an hour and a half of non-stop rain brought damage in some areas in Cebu. It was the worse I've seen so far in my life. Some areas that I never thought will flood, flooded! Traffic was even worse! I spent PhP 175 for my taxi fare from IT Park, Apas to AS Fortuna, Mandaue. Normally, it would only be PhP 75-80 but because of the heavy traffic, it doubled! My goodness! There were also less jeepneys traveling. And it was hard to get a ride because some are already full of passengers who are in a rush to get to work and to class. It was even harder to hail a taxi cab because the driver either refuses to give you a ride or he gives a limit up to where he can drive for you. What helped ease the burden of the situation though was when I saw my good friend Bryony experiencing the madness too. Hahaha! At least I had someone to chat with while waiting for a jeepney. And after waiting for what seemed like forever, finally we were able to ride one. But we had to fight our way just to get to the jeepney. Hehehe. Man! Was it crazy out there! If not for an important task, I wouldn't have left the office.

Here are some pics I took near SM City Cebu:
I have never seen this much water outside SM not until yesterdays heavy rain.

Looking at these, it makes me scared for our future. When will we start taking care of our environment? When will we ACTUALLY do something about it? We keep talking about saving our environment but we really don't do much effort. I admit, I lack some efforts too. :(

I just hope and pray that we can still save Mother Earth before it's too late.

Weddings and Ex Boyfriends

Get ready for a long read on my blog. Haha! I'm quite inspired to talk about weddings, lost love and soon-to-be-found love. I hope you'll enjoy this. :)

You know what they say that it's every girls dream to get married to their prince charming? Well, I'm one of those girls. Ever since I became a teenager, I've dreamt of getting married one day to my ideal guy and we'd start a family of four and we'd live in a bungalow type of house with a big lawn for the kids to play around. Then we'd work hard and invest on some business so we can create a beach house that we can go to everytime we need to have a vacation. Believe me, I have a long list for this. Hahahaha! So anyway, I decided to talk about weddings because I was watching videos from Jason Magbanua (see his amazing works). He is a famous wedding videographer and by famous, I really mean FAMOUS! He's the wedding videographer of Judy Ann Santos-Ryan Agoncillo, Rica Peralejo-Joe Bonifacio, and many more local celebs! I'm guessing his services are worth big bucks! Well, he does make cool and really really romantic same day edit wedding videos. They're to die for! And it really brings me to tears everytime I watch his videos! Haaaai.

Whenever I watch the videos, it makes me look back on the boyfriends I've had and it made me realize what a tragedy (and a big waste of money) it would be if I ended up marrying one of my exes and then get separated because he found something unlovable about me. That would be "ouch!" right? So, in a way, I'm thankful that they broke my heart because I know that the pain they bought upon me will pave the way for me to find and be found by my prince charming. Hahaha! Just for the information of everybody, since I'm talking about my ex's here, let me tell you that I've had three serious boyfriend-girlfriend relationships and two just-for-fun and i'm-still-innocent-at-that-time relationships. Hahaha! That's a total of five. Hehehe. Here's a brief description on my three serious bf-gf relationships:

1) Good boy/Inocente de ti guy - Let's just call him C. The oh-so good boy who was my first serious boyfriend. We lasted for 7 months. Really good guy but I guess I'm not the right girl for him. That means, good boy and medyo pasaway girl aren't the perfect combination sometimes. :)

2) Sporty but romantic guy - His initials are JJ. He was really romantic and very sporty. He loves to play soccer (he is a varsity) and basketball. He was also good in class. Belonged to the top section while I, on the other hand, did just fairly well in class. Hahaha! We lasted for 1 year and 10 months. In the middle of those months, we encountered four short break ups. Then we both decided to really call it quits because it just wasn't working anymore. I really admired JJ. He was very romantic. He wooed me through love letters and poems. Bought me simple gifts even when there's no occasion. But I guess, we aren't the perfect two also. Pero we're still good friends until now.

Note: Of all my ex's, JJ is the only one who remained as my friend. We get to communicate still once in a while. Awesome, isn't it? :)

3) Geeky/Achiever/Shy Guy - Let him be known as triple A. I will be really honest in telling you dear readers that I've seriously considered him as my "the one". But it was really, really too early to tell because look where we ended up with my supposedly "the one" guy. Hahaha! Seriously though, triple A was by far the only guy who had my parents approval. He was into academics and extra-curricular activities in school. He got good grades and was almost always on the Dean's Lister. He was known to most people as the shy and too-good-to-even-break-a-plate type of guy. But if you knew him better, he is, in some way, really the opposite. Our love story started with us being good friends. We lasted for 3 years. Broke my heart terribly. I lost weight and had a hard time moving on. It took me almost a year to get on with my life without him. YES! That long. I lost my bestfriend. That broke my heart even more. :( He's happy now, by the way. I am happy too! :) Sad thing is, we CAN'T communicate anymore. Bawal na kasi eh! hehehe :)

So you see, it was a good thing that I had to get my heart broken. It taught me to better appreciate the next (hopefully my ever-after) guy who's going to just make me believe that there is indeed a meaning to it all. And by "it" I mean the heart breaks. :) By the way, have you noticed that I gave quite a longer description with triple A compared to C and JJ? Hahahah! Oh well...

If you've seen the videos of Jason Magbanua, you'll notice how most of the brides say during their recital of vows that they've married their bestfriend, their confidante. Well, I want the same thing too - To marry my bestfriend (And I'm not referring to triple A). I have always believed that there comes a time in your relationship that the romance dies. But when that time comes, it is always important to still have the friendship. It usually saves a dying relationship. Trust me on that. :)

I know I'm still too young to get married (or even talk about it) and it's going to take a while before I walk down the aisle. But I know I'm closer to finding my kind of guy. The one that God is going to include in my life story. He may not be my ideal guy but I know he'll be my REAL guy. And we'll pretty make damn sure that Jason Magbanua will be our wedding videographer so that everyone will know how surreal it was to marry my "Right" man. :) So until then, I'll just allow myself to drown in tears watching Jason Magbanua's videos and get really jealous of those girls who finally found their "the one". Hahaha.

Scooby Doo

It was around 2008 when Scooby, our dog, was born. From the moment I saw him, I instantly fell in love with him. He was CUTE, fat and very playful. Plus, he can be very malambing. So, of the three dogs that we have, Scooby is my favorite. I always looked forward to seeing him everytime I come home from school or from work. Scooby was also everyone's favorite. Although he can be scary sometimes (because of his loud barking), most of the kids in our neighborhood really like him. Besides, he is never the kind to bite. Labradors are known to be one of the most friendly dogs. But scooby isn't a pure bred labrador. His pop is a pure lab while his is a mixture of pure bred lab and an askal. But he looks like a pure bred lab to me and I love him so much :)

Since we're all working, we leave Scooby outside in a leash to guard the house. We only let him loose when my Papa or anyone in the house is already back from work. We've gotten used to him being away for a few hours because we know that he needs to do "his" thing. Besides, he deserves to play after being tied up for almost 9 hours. But last night was different. After my Papa released him from his leash and let him go stroll somewhere, he never came back. We kept waiting for him to be back but he still didn't return home. We got tired of waiting because it was already 12mn and we still had work the next day. I was really worried for Scooby that I wasn't able to sleep well. I even cried because I feared that he might be dognapped or worst, DEAD. :( I was praying and hoping that when I wake up, I'll see him playing with our other two dogs, Buddy and Yogi.

When I woke up, he still wasn't home :( So my Papa and our caretaker took the liberty of searching for him. I was taking a bath when I heard him bark. SCOOBY IS BACK!! My Papa saw him quite far from our house just resting and doing nothing. Crazy scooby! Haaaai. But I'm super happy that he's back. According to my Papa, he won't allow scooby to "stroll" for a while. In human term, he is grounded. Hahahaha!

Monday Blues

Its the first day of the week. I hate Mondays because it is the start of yet another work week. And the weather today isn't cooperating at all. It is a "bed" weather. Makes me just wanna crawl up in bed and sleep or just read books all day. But you know what they say, when you want to earn money, you got to work hard for it. So I had to get my lazy ass up and report for work.

It wasn't so hectic at the office today. There were only quite a few of to-do's and just quite a number of e-mails. But I did a lot of scanning and printing today. More or less, today was just okay. I'm not sure about tomorrow. I'm guessing that I'll be receiving tons of e-mails and to-do's from our Call Center Manager. It's okay though. At least I get to do something at the office rather than just bum around. Hehehe.

I also went out of the office a bit early because I had to go to SM to finish one of my to-do lists. I needed to canvass a fabric that will be used to cover our sleeping mats. I also had to buy office supplies. When I arrived at SM, it was packed. Maybe some people have not gotten over the Sinulog festivities yet. Or maybe because there was no class in Cebu City that's why a lot of people are hanging out at the mall. So anyway, I saw some affordable fabrics. The question is, how much will it cost us to have it customized? Hmmm..

I also saw my Auntie Dingks and cousin Dawn at the mall. Lucky for me, I got a free dinner! YEY! hahaha! And even though I was planning to go home early so that I can read my book, it was okay that I stayed longer at the mall because I enjoyed it man pud. Plus, we went to the grocery to buy ingredients for puto cheese. YUM!! I'm sure it'll taste good because my Aunt is a great cook! :) Anyway, one of the ingredients for puto cheese is butter. And oh how I love the smell of it. It is just so hypnotizing. Hahahaha. But the longer you smell it, the more it makes you realize that it can be really fatty. Hahaha! But stilll, I love the smell of butter.

Well, this is how my day went. I'm looking forward to Tuesday because it'll be nearing Friday na. Hahaha. Excited much? Hahaha. So how was your day today? :)

Happy Sinulog, Cebu!

It took me 3 hours to come up with a blog about Sinulog but I guess I have what they call "writers block" today. I can't get myself to formulate the right sentences to describe this festival. And i don't want to keep on quoting websites because it would be useless. So before I get super angry at myself for not being able to make a good blog, I'll summarize this in a few sentences.

SINULOG IS THE BEST, AWESOMEST, MOST COLORFUL FESTIVAL IN THE WHOLE COUNTRY!!

STREET DANCING IS NICE!!

CROWDED PLACES IS WHAT I HATE MOST!!

AND..I'M JUST STUCK AT HOME RIGHT NOW BECAUSE THE WEATHER IS BAD AND I HAVE WORK TOMORROW. SO TO MY FRIENDS WHO ARE OUT THERE PARTYING NOW, I ENVY YOU!!

HAPPY SINULOG, CEBU!!

Today was FUN!

Today was super tiring but really FUN. I didn't hop from one place to another. I was only at SM the entire afternoon with my bestfriend Christine. We did a lot of things while waiting for the fireworks to start by 8pm. Here's what we did:

1) Went to PRIME CARE. I was supposed to attend the Sto. Niño procession but Dr. Abdul advised me to come see her today for a follow up appointment regarding my condition. Since my health needed to be prioritized first, I decided not to attend the procession. But Dr. Abdul didn't show up. There was no even text message from her saying if she can make it to our appointment or not! She better come up with a good excuse for not showing up!

2) Ate at BIGBYS. In my 22 years of living, this is my first time to eat at Bigbys. Its not that I can't afford it there, but no one EVER invited me to eat there. So today, I told my bestfriend that we should eat at Bigbys since we haven't eaten there together.

I ordered their carbonara with grilled chicken. I thought it was going to be just a "light" meal. Turns out, it wasn't. I didn't even get to finish the whole meal. Bummer! :( But it was delicious.

Christine ordered this burger with fries (sorry, I forgot the name of the meal).

3) Book hunting at POWERBOOKS. My bestfriend Christine and I loves to read books. But we don't have pretty much the same tastes. So we went to Powerbooks because it was on sale. Hehehe. We both liked to buy so many books but we were on a tight budget. So we settled for one book each. I bought Nicholas Sparks' "On First Sight". Christine bought "The Choice" by Nicholas Sparks also.

4) Strolled SM. We had to just stroll the mall. Went inside from one boutique to another just to burn off the calories we ate from Bigbys.

5) Acing at ACE HARDWARE. We don't normally go to hardware stores but today we had to go to Ace hardware to buy an adapter for Christine.

6) DVD at ODYSSEY. They were on SALE!! So I bought two dvd's. It was a buy one, take one promo for only PhP 325. I bought these two movies:

7) Movie Time at SM CINEMA. Me and Christine decided to watch a movie just to kill time (the fireworks will start not until 8pm and it was still 5pm when we watched a movie). We were confused on whether to watch "Gulliver's Travels" or "The Little Fockers". Both starred great actors but we only need to choose one. So we went with the former.

It was starred by Jack Black as Lemuel Gulliver. He was paired with Amanda Peet as Darcy Silverman. Gulliver's bestfriend was played by Jason Segel from How I Met Your Mother, and his love of his life was played by Emily Blunt as Princess Mary. The movie was GREAT!! We laughed the entire time. This was based on a famous Children's book about a guy who was travelling and ended up in Liliput where he encounters tiny people. He was the giant in that place but managed to form friendships and some enemies as well. I've read this one when I was still a kid.

The movie is highly recommendable. I encourage everyone to watch it!!!

8) Had drinks at STARBUCKS. Well, we actually just had to order out because there were many people. They had no available seats for us.

9) FORME is For Me. Christine and I bought the same blouse but with different colors. They were on sale and the blouse was great. It only costs PhP 198. How lovely is that?? :)

Then the rest of the night was spent on walking around the mall. We were supposed to watch the amazing fireworks display but it was the place was too crowded. Plus, it was raining! So our last stop was at KFC to order out a meal for my ate before we decided to go home.

This day was really tiring from all the walking in a crowded place. But it was so much FUN! Window shopping with your bestfriend is the BEST!!! Tomorrow, I shall spend my day at home instead of partying on the streets for SINULOG. I'll blog about that festival tomorrow. Until then, I'll end my blog with this line: "VIVA PIT SEñOR!!!"

Ophiuchus - The 13th sign?

While checking on my twitter account, I happen to see a tweet from @nikkikayvee that talks about this supposedly 13th astrological sign called Ophiuchus. She posted the link so I decided to check it out. And this is what the article said:

Your zodiac sign may not actually be your zodiac sign anymore. Astronomer Parke Kunkle says that due to changes in the Earth's alignment the dates of many zodiac signs have changed, according to NBC. In addition, there may be a 13th Zodiac sign: Ophiuchus. Kunkle says that as the Earth and Sun slowly move the signs gradually change, as expected. The change didn't happen over night either. The 12 signs were designated to different periods of the year almost 3,000 years ago, when astrology began, and since then the Earth's position in relation to the sun has changed. While the sign many people were born under may now be different, it shouldn't affect horoscope readings, according to NBC.

See if your Zodiac sign has changed below.
The New Dates:
Story continues below
Capricorn: Jan. 20 - Feb. 16
Aquarius: Feb. 16 - March 11
Pisces: March 11- April 18
Aries: April 18 - May 13
Taurus: May 13 - June 21
Gemini: June 21 - July 20
Cancer: July 20 - Aug. 10
Leo: Aug. 10 - Sept. 16
Virgo: Sept. 16 - Oct. 30
Libra: Oct. 30 - Nov. 23
Scorpio: Nov. 23 - Nov. 29
Ophiuchus: Nov. 29 - Dec. 17
Sagittarius: Dec. 17 - Jan. 20

So apparently, I am now a Pisces. All my life I have been an Aries. The Mighty Aries. Now Im a pisces? I don't know if this is true or if this has been verified but I want to remain an Aries because I like it.  Hahahaha. How about you guys, did your sign change too?

I am Angry!!!!

What am I angry about? Or who am I angry with? And why am I angry?? Well..its because of..uhm..how do I explain this to you guys? Uhm..it's really because of...

Angry Birds is quite an addicting game that can really make your tempers rise!!

Hahahahaha!!! YES!! I am Angry with Angry Birds!! It's an addicting game really. The moment it was downloaded in my iTouch4, I've been hooked up with playing this. It came to a point where I got so pissed, I almost threw my iTouch (to the bed). Hahahaha!! Each level gets harder and trickier! You really have to be good at aiming and you really need to have higher level of patience. On my part, everytime I pass through one level, I get so relieved that it feels like I just passed a very difficult exam. Hahaha!!

I forgot what level this was but believe me, it took me quite a while to pass through this!
But Angry Birds is really fun and challenging at the same time. I know a lot of people who are also pissed at this game. Hahaha! But they continue to play it still. I highly recommend to everyone reading this blog to download this app. It's so fun and its irresistible!

cried. then ate ice cream.

I cried while I was in the office. Embarrassing. (Photo taken from metrolic.com)
To start off, that is not me in the picture. I just grabbed it from metrolic.com. So anyway, HI everyone! This morning, I cried while I was in the office. My problem is quite personal so that means its not work related. I just got off the phone with my Papa when I started crying. Apparently, I'm in trouble. And I really hate being in trouble especially when I have to deal with my Papa. I cannot disclose the reason for our argument, coz like I said, it's personal. But even so, I have to air out my frustrations.

Don't you just hate it when you get accused for something you actually didn't do? Coz I do. And this has happened to me like a million times already. I don't know why its so easy for them to point their fingers at me for something that I did not do. GRRR!!! And what's worse is that, they are my family. They're suppose to know me better! Haaai nako.

So that's it. I gave you a little scoop of what really made me cry today. And speaking of scoop, our Call Center Manager, Ms. Angel, gave me a Cornetto ice cream when she saw me crying. It was really unexpected so it made me cry even more because I was touched. Thanks Ms. Angel. ☺

This is not the actual ice cream flavor. I googled it but I can't seem to find it.

Hope you guys had a better day compared to mine. I still have to deal with this problem as soon as I get home. Wish me luck guys!♥

on FB status messages and some drama

Everyone's got a facebook account. Even babies who don't have any idea how this works even has their own account made by their proud parents. A better social networking site compared to Friendster, Facebook lets you connect even better with your friends through chat, exchanging of comments through wall posts or through status messages and gives you wider connections. You can even find your long lost elementary classmates. And it has many apps that allows you to better express yourself.

What's on your mind? - That's where people who are in Facebook (FB) usually base their status messages. It could be something random, something worth sharing, worth learning from, or whatever is in your mind that you like to post. Some of these status messages can be a bit disturbing, annoying, inspiring and something you can relate too. Someone's status can tell a story. It can foster friendship or even destroy one. It can sustain a relationship but can also ruin it. Facebook does actually affect your life..some in a good way, and to some in a bad way.

Now, why am I making this blog? It's because just today, as I am making this blog post, I happened to notice that FB is bringing back some memories from 2009. In the right side bar, they are displaying my status messages from 2009 until the present. I got hooked up in reading because it brought back happy and painful memories. It made me laugh recalling how dramatic and shallow I was before. Hahaha! And it made me see who were there from the start until now. Wow. Nostalgic me. Hahaha.

Memorable Stories (Right side bar). That's how FB descibe all my status since 2009. Haha.

Because of this, I realized that I've become a better person. I've grown more mature now compared before. And it's nice because after all the pains, sorrows, sadness and happiness that I went through, it made me who I am today - a stronger person.

Happy FB'ing everyone! and follow me on twitter! Hahaha! :))

"This is not goodbye." -Bamboo Mañalac

BAMBOO

I have been a fan of the band BAMBOO since it officially started way back in 2002. Something about the vocalist and his voice made me admire the band. And I've got to say..they are all cute and good looking, so it was plus points! Hahaha! So anyway, I was the silent fan. I didn't buy their albums, didn't go to their concerts and didn't collect pictures/posters of them. But I have their songs on my iPod, checks out their website every chance I get and scream with excitement everytime they perform on TV. They are a great band - really great that it saddens me that they have decided to call it quits.

To quote Bamboo Mañalac, the band's vocalist, "As a group we've come to a point where you have to trust your gut, your heart and your head and you have to accept that all things change. The hardest part as always is to know when to pack it up and part ways. We've learned that this journey is not only about us but includes all who came along the trip. Family, friends and of course our front row believers who were there for the best reason of all. To simply listen. So it didn't come easy winding down to this decison. So here we go - ITS OFFICIAL - THE BAND - IT'S OVER." (Click here for the official statement of Bamboo)

This first started as a rumor since nothing official came out from the Band nor its management. I first got to know about this when this was retweeted by one of the people I follow on Twitter. But now that a statement has been issued from the vocalist himself, it is quite a loss in the music industry to have their band disbanded. But I believe that good things will come on their individual lives. After all, they are all musically gifted. I hope that they continue to create music and share it with the people who loved them from the start.

Here's to hoping that we'll still see you perform, individually or as a band, in the coming months. More power to all of you.

God has lead you to your RIGHT GUY.

One of my BFF's, Dinah.
I have always believed that when one door closes, another door shall open that will lead you to something better. And indeed, that opened door lead my very good friend Dinah to her Right Guy by the name of Jannsen. I can honestly say, that of the three guys that became very special to the heart of Din2x, I've only been in favor of the first guy and the Right Guy. The one in the middle, I've never been a fan. I've been vocal with Dinah since the start that I don't like the middle guy because I find him hambog. But since she loved him, I gave the guy a chance (feeling important kaayo ko sah? Hahaha).

To make the story short, this middle guy broke Din2x's heart. And not in good way. He cheated (and yes, we have proofs). He had so many alibis, thinking that we wouldn't find out. HELLO!!! Babae kaya mi. We women know how to dig in to your alibis ui! Duh! Well anyway, a part of me got sad that Dinah's heart was broken by this guy who didn't even deserve her heart from the start. But a part of me also got happy because I know that she is one step closer to finding her RIGHT GUY. I know that this sounds cliche but Dinah was a great loss to him. I know that. Hahaha!

Then came the hero..the one (aside from us) who saved Dinah from the damage that middle guy brought. His name is Jannsen, a former co-worker of Dinah. From the moment I met him, I knew instantly that Pak! Perfect! hahaha! No seriously, I had good vibes from him..and until now, I find no problems whatsoever with him nor with their relationship.

Dinah with her Right Man, Jannsen :)
I am so happy that Dinah finally found her perfect match, the one guy who totally loves her unconditionally.

I  hope that your love story will continue forever. You both complement each other and you are like a match made in heaven. God did write a perfect story for you Din and He included the best character ever. Love you both! :*

P.S.
I was motivated to write this blog because I saw something in FB that made my blood boil. Well, I just wish him happiness and that Bad Karma won't haunt him.
