Thanks guys! More blogging for me! ♥

Hello and Goodbye, Manila!

This is the last part of our 1 and a half day in Manila.

Good morning, Eastwood!
On our last day, we took the time to stroll around the condo.

Woke up to this polluted but still beautiful view ♥

The road is still quiet. Not much cars are passing by.

Look up!

swimming pool on the 5th floor

Some of the restaurants that can be found inside Eastwood.

Quiet Eastwood.

Surrounded with tall buildings.

Jump for Joy! ♥

This view makes me think that I was in a foreign country.

With the ever generous, Ate Apple ♥

With my ever supportive and forever best friend, Christine!♥
Lunch. Mall of Asia.

We headed out to Mall of Asia (MOA) located in Pasig for lunch and to continue shopping. LOL. We were also hanging out here to wait for our flight. (source: wikipedia)

We had lunch at Gumbo.

Christine had baby back ribs with rice and french fries.

Ate Apple had this for lunch. Sorry, I forgot the name.

I had grilled pork with rice and coleslaw. The more I ate the coleslaw, the more it tasted bad.

Picture with Christine and Ate Apple after lunch. ♥

Stolled around MOA and chanced upon Zara having a sale. Bought a lovely blouse for myself.

Our trip wouldn t be complete without a box of these. ♥
Goodbye, Manila!

At around 2 pm, we were already at NAIA Terminal 3. We got checked it at around 2:30 pm.

No picture of our plane. But we boarded the plane at 3:45 pm. Got to take off at 5:10pm. Our flight was delayed by an hour.

Take off! Goodbye, Manila! Till next time! :)
Overall, my trip to Manila was as much fun as the last time I was there. The differences were, I traveled with my best friend and not with my family, and that my goal for going to Manila was to shop only. It was a fun 1 and a half day of my life. Aside from counting this as part of my birthday celebration, this was also a time to bond with my best friend who's in love by the way. Heehee.
I am so grateful to Ate Apple for arranging almost everything. From the condo we were staying at, the restaurants we went to eat, and to the shopping places she took us to! And I'd like to thank her for paying for almost everything! From dinner to taxi fare and to the condo..all of it, she paid for! I am forever grateful to Ate Apple! ♥
Thank you also to Christine who went with me. Looking forward to our next trip together! ♥

Hello again, Manila! (Part 2)

A continuation of our 1 and half day at Manila.
DINNER.
When we got back to the condo, we rested for a while and then freshened up. We were going to have dinner at a Korean-Japanese eat-all-you-can restaurant. Ate Apple made reservations for a 5pm dinner.

An eat-all-you-can restaurant that served Korean and Japanese foods. It was superb! Foods were very delicious!

I was actually forced to learn how to use chopsticks to blend in to the environment. LOL.

This is what I ate for the first round. Sushis and other I-dont-know-what-their-name foods. Hehe.

Their tempura was delish! I kept having my plate refilled with this. LOL.

Christine served as our "Chef" for the night. She cooked the raw foods for us.

Waiting for these to be cooked

The perfect treat to end the super full dinner.
WATER SHOW. and more shopping.

After dinner, we strolled around Eastwood. I continued buying stuffs for me and my mama.

Busy night.

Not sure if it s called Walk of Stars pero it s there in Eastwood. I happened to step on Aga Mulach s star.

There s an impersonator of MJ who only moves when someone gives him tips.

One of the highlights of our night was the water show in Eastwood. This is my first time to see this so I was really amazed and impressed.

We had to take a picture with Eastwood Mall as our background. LOL!
CONDO. at night.

A view from the condo we re staying at. The lights from the buildings and houses make it look so pretty.

I kept staring at the view.

It was a tiring but super fun day. Slept at around 1am. Excited to continue shopping the next day and looking forward to going home too.
xoxo ♥

Hello again, Manila! (Part 1)

Last April 9 - 10, 2011, my bestfriend Christine and I went to Manila for my birthday trip. This was something I was looking forward to because my only goal for going there was to SHOP! LOL! I'll show you some of the highlights of our trip. There isn't much to tell because, basically, all we did there was eat and shop.

1st day. Departing from Mactan International Airport. Arrival at NAIA Terminal 3.

Flight 5J 560 bound for Manila. Departure time was 6:30 am.

Arrived at NAIA Terminal 3 at exactly 7:30 AM.
Our temporary living area: EASTWOOD NORTH CONDO.

The condo we were staying at was located at Eastwood. The place was superb. The moment you step out of the building of your condo, you will right away find a Mall, Restaurants, Gym and Offices. I could live here granted I have lots of money. LOL.

View from the Eastwood North Condo. Stayed at the 30th Floor. Overlooking Marikina City.

2 years ago, most of the houses you see were flooded. Even SM Marikina was not spared.

BREAKFAST.

Had breakfast at Heaven & Eggs located just within EastWood.

Ordered this pancake for breakfast. Wasn t able to finish it because it was just too much for me. But it s delicious.
SHOPPING.

Our first stop after breakfast was at Greenhills Shopping Center. (photo grabbed from the web)
Greenhills pretty much has everything you need at a cheaper price. But divisoria prices are much cheaper.

This is the only picture I took inside GH. I couldn t take much pictures because I was busy shopping and I was afraid my cam might get snatched.
After Greenhills, we took a taxi cab and went straight to Greenbelt which was located in Makati. The mall offers a mix of high-end retail shops, restaurants, amenities, leisure and entertainment in the Philippines. Currently, the mall has five sections, two are indoor buildings and the other two buildings are open-air shopping. The most recent addition, Greenbelt 5, opened in 2007. (source: Wikipedia)

I wasn t able to take a picture of Greenbelt (GB) so I just grabbed this from the internet. This is the exact spot where the taxi driver dropped us off. It reminded me of Ayala Cebu Terraces.
Greenbelt pretty much has high-end stores. I can't afford all the displays there. LOL. We just went there to look for Forever 21. Unfortunately, it wasn't located there so we had to walk all the way to SM Makati which wasn't that far.

One of my goals for coming in Manila was to be able to shop at Forever 21. And I am so glad that I was able to do it! Bought a lot of stuffs from them. They were not expensive at all!♥
When we got to F21, it was packed with so many people. You don't feel any crisis at all. The line for the fitting rooms and the cashiers were super long! It was so hard for me to decide what to buy because there were a lot of nice things. And I couldn't fit it all because like I said, the lines for the fitting rooms were too long. Good thing that what I bought fit me well.

My feet hurts after all the shopping. Gaah!
I got tired from all the shopping and all the walking we had. After buying at F21, we headed back to our condo.
